Making a key?

Question

I am making a key and lock for a school project and i have an outline of what the key has to look like made out of clay, however i cannot find a way to make the key. Is there anything i can use or somewhere i can go to make this key?

Sure, get some polymer clay and press a real key into it. Do 2 separate ones, using both sides of the real key. Bake according to directions. Now use those as a mold for the finished product. Press more clay in between them and then bake that one. That will be your finished piece.
