He-re-tI-zma-ta a-pO tIn E-lΑ-tha. (4 words, noun, preposition, article, noun)
H is pronounced like in "here" , it is strong not like in "Helen" where it's soft.
E is pronounced like e in "elephant"
I is pronounced as in the word "in".
Capital letters is where you put the tone, you raise the level of your voice. e.g. hElen
A is pronounced clearly like in "elephant".
I wrote - dash between the syllables of the same word so u will understand how to say it and when to stop your voice. Practice slowly and then quicker and you will sound greek. the key is to pronounce clearly the vowels without accent.
