Which one was the best disco group/act of the 70s? The Bee Gees (even though they have not always done disco), Sylvester? Opinions?

Thats a hard one but know more songs by the village people than all the other ones so am going to have to go with The Village People know 3 songs by them. YMCA, Macho Man and In the Navy while the other artists like Donna Summer I only know the song she works hard for the money. Gloria Gaynor only song I know is I Will Survive. Chic only song know by them is Le Freak. KC and sunshine band I know the songs shake shake shake, shake your booty and the song thats the way I like it. The Dazz band know no songs by them.

The Bee Gees and I think KC and the Sunshine Band are actually better than they get credit for.

Hands down KC And The Sunshine Band.Get Down Tonight is the best Disco song EVER. And Shake Your Booty is the most wonderfully slinky song of all time no question.Keep Those music questions coming Cats I LUV em.

Donna Summer, she best represents what Disco was all about. Although I'd say Gloria Gaynor is a close second.
