While in Italy, I had an audience with Pope John Paul before he passed.
When I came back from Kuwait President Bush (the dad) and Sen. Levin came to my hospital room and had a chance to meet both of them.
But the best thing, was when in Tasmania I saw some really great birds and wildlife. It was on "Kangaroo IV" mission with the military (joint services training exercise in New Zeeland and surrounding area islands.)

The whole trip was to do one thing. Backpacked to the bottom of the Grand Canyon and spent 5 days in the canyon.

I rode an elephant in Malaysia! Best experience ver, we even got to go on their back in the water and get thrown off them!!
