and have not really ever thought about the number 23 enigma. Having thought about it I can see that this number is linked to many things including disasters. I also realised that this was the case for the Twin Towers disaster-09/11/2001 added together equals 23. Does anybody else know of anything sinister events attached to the no 23?

Sopposedly If you divide 2/3 u get .666 which is wierd. Another is that Shakespear was born on April 23 1564 and Died the April 23 1564
Julius Caesar was stabbed 23 times durring his assasssination.
The Oklahoma City Bombing was on the April 19, 1995(April=4,+19=23)
Hiroshima was Bombed at 8:15 (8+15=23)

Well an uncle of mine would never go out without wearing something green on Friday the thirteenth as it would be unlucky and he smoked (which was unlucky because he died of lung cancer) but he would never take a "third light" from a match for his cigarette because he said in the First World War in the trenches at night the first light would let a sniper see,the second to take aim and the third to shoot.On the other hand he was the seventh son of a seventh son and that is supposed to be lucky so adding them up you get - 13 + 3 + seven ... you're right!

Oh no - you can subtract the lucky one so it's 13 + 3 - 7 that's hmm ... 9.
But nine = 3x 3 so I'd definately never start smoking.

I love stuff like this. It's intriguing.
For all those who think it's all coincidence or you can force any sums I think you ought to consider the Fibonacci sequence (1 2 3 5 8 13...) crops up in all life as does the golden section (phi), Pi is intrinsic to our existence and prime numbers pervade so much of life, not just maths.
Remember, the meaning of life is 42.
