Everyone is sue crazy, the pipes were old, the infrastructural system needs to be re-done. When the taxes go up and everyone has to pay, they will really holler.
I feel sorry for the ones that were hurt, injured and displaced.
But some things happen all the time, you might fall out of your tree while cutting branches......thank you

The same thing happened here in California. There are people out here who lost family on 9-11. I'm one of them. I never thought about suing the city of Los Angeles for the pipeline bursting. There are old pipes everywhere and that kind of a thing is going to happen. Some people will sue for anything. But-I guess it is their right.

No. I think people sue for anything and everything these days. I also think that there should be a law to put those attorneys in jail (or at least suspend their license for a yr) who consistently sue for stupid stuff...and that needs to include the judges who permit such crap into their courtroom agendas.

Everyone seems to want to sue these days.

Just because something bad happens to a person does not mean they are entitled to bring a lawsuit against a person or a group.

People need to understand that crap happens. Now, if something happened to a person that was based on negligence or intentional harm, then yeah, have your day in court. Other than that, suck it up and move on.

Yes, I have the right to sue for being subject to such frivolous lawsuits in the news.

Put the hot coffee down and step away from the lawyer.
