what your opinion on abortion?




Mine- abortions are wrong, x-ept in certain situations, like rape, young age, drug addicts....

but who's to judge if your an exception?

Im currently 1 month preg, im 22, married, live w/ my husband hes 25,i used protection, he wants me to have an abortion. I cant do it. He says because im not done w/ school and dont have a career, and he doesnt either. His parents live in another country and havnt met me yet and wont be around to see the baby. But i cant bring my self do it . I told him to leave me w/ baby if he doesnt want it. he said i want it just not now. I cant kill my baby, how can i get it through his thick skull?

OKay, for the women stating that she had to have an abortion due to medical reasoning, well have you done your homework? I have. Less then 7% of abortions are preformed due to medical reasons & most of those are not even specified, it's a simple way to "write off" a way to get paid. Less then 1% of abortions are due to rape! You wanna know the main reasoning? And I Quote.. "having a baby would dramatically change my life" that's all! Medical advancements have made big strides over the years & there is less & less medical reasons to preform abortion. Now, in the case of an etopic pregnancy, I as a nursing student, understand all of the risks invovled & you had no choice. But that should not make you automatically pro-choice. I believe that the reason most abortions are preformed is lack of knowledge. A partial birth abortion is when they deliver the baby fully alive & developed feet first. It's little legs kicking. They then jam scissors into the base of the skull & spread them apart. The baby's arms & legs thrash around. A tube is inserted & they suck out the brains until the baby goes limp, then it is delivered the rest of the way. An early abortion- ppl think a baby can't feel, but in recent studies they hooked a woman up to a ultrasound as they preformed an abortion on a 4 week fetus. As the solution was inserted, it burns the baby to death. It kept trying to swim away from the solution until there was no where to go, it then thrashed around violently until it died. And I leave you with this thought, The baby is a human & doesn't it deserve it's choice as well? Why are you so important that your choice matters more then his? Who knows who that baby would have been? And.. it is not a choice.. it is a child.

I dont agree with abortions, but i do feel that a woman should have the choice with what she want to do. I just hate the fact that people abuse getting abortions, its not a type of birth control people. I was 16 when i got pregnant, i handled my responsabilities and had my daughter who is not 4. i have a good life and nice job, my life was not over! if there are 15 and 16 year olds that can do it anyone can!

I disagree with the first response because you're both the parents. However, I don't believe that anyone has the right to murder a child. It's not a question of your body, it's the child's body. I believe that you were correct to tell him that he's welcome to leave if he chooses. He said that he wants it but not now. The problem is that it is no longer an option, it's a reality. Protect your child no matter what. I'm praying that he understands that all of the excuses that he's put forth are irrelevant. I pray that his eyes are opened to see the possibilities that his child will bring to the world. God bless!

I can understand situations that would make a woman feel she needs an abortion (as you mentioned - rape, young age, incest comes to mind).What I find wrong about it is when women use abortion as a form of birth control - such as they have promiscuous sex without protection and go have an abortion instead of changing their ways to prevent the pregnancy in the first place.

im not saying I will actually try force someone to not have an abortion but I will deffently try my best to talk them out of having one. I would NEVER have one personally unless it meant i would die if i didnt.

how exactly would you prove that you were an exception? what if you couldn't prove it? what if you had nothing to prove but lie in order to try & get the exception?

there's no way to put exceptions into it, unless it's a clear cut medical reason (like ectopic pregnancy for example). and not even all medical reasons are that clear cut...

edit: to the poster above me: i'm a murderer huh? so if i hadn't gotten an abortion, and had died along with the fetus, that would be better? what about the baby i'm carrying NOW that would have been denied life since i would be dead? hmm? [had an ectopic pregnancy]

btw, b*tch above, do you even KNOW what an ectopic pregnancy is?? it is an embryo attached inside the small fallopian tube. it has no chance of survival as it would kill the mother by rupturing her fallopian tube causing massive internal bleeding. educate yourself moron.

i get annoyed with people who preach to everyone and tell them what they should believe in.
i am PRO-CHOICE meaning that i believe every woman has her own personal choice and belief or feeling towards what they think is best for them to do in the situation they are in.


but personally. i think abortions are fine is the woman wants one..but i only think they're fine if they get it done before the baby is like around 12 weeks. i saw this video called the silent scream and it was of an abortion done when the baby was 12 weeks inside of the mother and it was horrible and depressing. the baby was trying to get away from the suction tube thing and you could see it struggling for its life. so i would only get an abortion done very early in pregnancy..and i mean like REALLY early.

but i still believe that its not wrong for everyone to have their own veiws and opinions. so thats why i get annoyed at all these people preaching and trying to make others think the way they want them to.

go through with the pregancy, everything will work out! but dont do the abortion
