Get a good brand, not the cheapest. After all, these are the discs that will save you if your hard drive bites the dust.

Sony do make good discs. I prefer Verbatim (same quality, I just personally don't like Sony).

So either Sony or Verbatim. Get DVD R- if you're drive supports it, or DVD R+. Don't get RW, as they tend to degrade faster.

Sony . Don't believe me. Take sony and another disc. Bend both same way with your hand. You'll find out yourself.

u can use just about any disk, u should go to best buy or walmart to get them,walmart is cheap try them

i like tdk, just make sure you know which type your hp uses, there are - and + types, like -R, -RW or +R, +RW. also, my hp hates memorex
