Yes , corruption is very much of politics in the UK
And when someone can prove it , without doubt the legal system fails to act
I was evicted , without notice , without a court order , while in hospital , and was only given notice when I asked my Council to act , the house by then had been re let , and to make matters worse the person that so called evicted me was not even my landlord ,
But because the person , had the same solictors as the Council , and that it is a fact that he has freinds within the council , yes you got it the council failed to act
Apart from that the solictors lied as , they said that they had a court order , which they did not , and apart from that the firm of solictors had agreed to take the case on my behalf the same day as I complained to the council some seven days before I was given notice by them.
Now I have complained to everyone concerning this matter , the courts , MP the Prime Minister TB & GB , and the Queen , the Law socioty but nothing ,
Why because the system is CORRUPT , the only way I'm going to get justice is to deal with the matter myself
By the way the council is Bedford , the Solictors are Woodfines , the so called landlord is Mr Lal and the agent is Mr S. Flora and between them they still owe me over fifty thousand pounds
And it is well known that these people make a living out of ripping people of , with the council doing nothing to stop it .
Oh I forgot to say the council did do something for me , they told me the address of the homeless shelter , they never even tried to re house me ,
And NOW the council want me to pay council tax , forget it , they can take me to court , which may I add they don't want too . I must be the only person allowed to not pay council tax
Now if thats not corruption within the system then just what is

The simple answer, Ray, is Yes, I think corruption exists in British politics.
I'm shocked at the recent revelations about the 'cash for honours' case. All that money spent and not one person convicted. That's got to be the clincher.

Corruption exists in every walk of life, politics is no exception.
Cash for Honours is just one of a long list of corrupt practices that have existed in the UK for centuries. If i vote for you what will you do for me in return, same old story, every one can be corrupted, power, money, titles, whatever.

British, American, Muslim, Arab, African, Japanese, Korean....ALL Government has one or more corrupt people in it. Now, it becomes a matter of proving these claims and the immunity that is preserved for those officials. I know it sucks.......but only voters can control government corruption. By voting more wisely and placing HONEST people into office!
