come up during the republican debate to make up for the lack of the democrats discussing terrorism? What is wrong with the democrats? Don't they realize the sky is falling, or do they realize we have major problems at home that are even more important than living their lives in fear of terrorists? Seriously, is our children learning?

007. What most threatens our security is our open borders and ports. Six years after 9/11 and anyone can still walk right on across, like millions have and continue to do. Sorry, but I disagree with you.

Trent Lott is from Mississippi.

I'm sure it will come up every third word. It will be conveniently sandwiched between Reagan and Jesus. If the questions were asked by the people it just goes to show that despite the fear mongering of the right people have far greater concerns than terrorism right now.

Great American- once again you've managed to copy and paste a whole big thing up about WMD's.
It's funny how you keep giving answers that have nothing to do with the question, because, as we all know there is no link between Al Qaeda and Saddam. Why don't you actually answer questions.

Although I missed the debate, I'd say it seems obvious terrorism wasn't mentioned because any question on it that wasn't about pulling out wouldn't have helped the party. Any answer that would be about sending more troops to Iraq or wherever the terrorists are hiding would not be liked by the Public. The majority has had enough war for the past 2 terms. And any answer that would be about sending our troops home would just cause those that are on the fence in the upcoming election that support the war in Iraq or the war on terror to vote the other way.

The sky isn't falling! It is people similar to you who are out of touch!

We make more enemies a day than we can kill, and your idiot leader is the reason why.

Democrats know we are unsafe! In 1996 Pres Clinton submitted an anti-terrorist Bill and who was against it? Trent Lott, the numb apologist from Utah, and the rest of the Republicans!

Italy, Spain and GB catch and charge their terrorist! We invade countries who have nothing to do with terrorism or 9/11!!

The Republicans failure to protect this country when they had ample warning is proof enough that either you were in on it, or are just plain incompetent!

More terrorist attacks have been carried out by Americans on this country than those you are bent out of shape about. Atlanta, Oklahoma were all American hatched plots!

I guess next you are going to say that the Constitution is "just a piece of paper!"

"Is our children learning?" Apparently not!

And great American, our leaders can only make the best decisions on information that they get. And from the white house it was a pack of lies!

Democrats don't talk about it because they don't know what to do about it. Since we were attacked on 9/11 they have not advanced a single realistic or practical initiative that would help to make America safer or help protect America from the threat of international terrorism. (Since 9/11 islamic fascists have hit Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Denmark, Great Britain, Russia, The Philipines, and several middle eastern Islamic nations. But WE are making them angry.) To add to this absence of ideas, they have also resisted every single effort the President and the Republican congress has initiated...that is with the exception of the war in Iraq. A majority of them voted for that. And yet, even now, this is the effort that they are now lining up to surrender. At least they're consistant.

The reason the Dems didn't have to talk about it is because the Republican led administration has provided so many protections, they don't have to worry about it.
The Republican debate will mention it several times mainly because they are the only ones with real answers on how to continue protecting our great country.

Let the Dems feed the hungry in the soup kitchens and let the Cons protect the country so the soup kitchens can stay open is what I always say.

Typical failure to deal with immediate problems. Democrats like global warming better. They can tax us and say they are doing something while not doing a damn thing. Mean while the shape of the worlds future hangs in the balance and they just want to ignore it.

Come on man questions from a talking snowman? Isn't the Democrat debate just a little too Saturday morning cartoonish? How can you take these people seriously?

Someone has to deal with the terrorist problem. If the Democrats refuse to, the Republicans will have to.

See unlike Democrats, Republicans arent afraid to handle tough issues for our day.

"Seriously, is our children learning?"

Looks to me that the adults in your area need some education as well.

And no, terrorism is not the most important topic. In fact, only 5% of democrats believe that terrorism is the most important factor in determining a candidate. Same-sex marriage, the Iraq War, and the Healthcare are all higher and are much more important than terrorism in my opinion.

Also, terrorism happens more frequently than you think. Murder and crime are bigger threats than the "terrorists"

EDIT: WOW! Look at all of the righties who don't even bother reading what "GREAT_AMERICAN" wrote down and just mark it as thumbs up because they disagree with it. Really show you how intelligent some people are...

The terrorists are here has been screamed enough times its losing its teeth.

I'm sure it will be mentioned several times. Just as Bush used the words Al Queda 95 times in his 20 minute speech this morning. Bush has created more terrorists than ever with his bungled job in Iraq.
I am more interested in why there were no questions about illegal immigration.
