He with his background scares the heck our of me, period.

Why are people so naive?

Why would they even take a chance with on this man?

The whole thing is foolish to begin with.

Atta assimilated well into our society, too, right up to the day he drove that plane into the towers.

Why even risk Obama 'rediscovering' his roots?

No more than starting an unprovoked war, that has killed 3,600 Fighting Men and Women and cost our country billions of dollars each month. Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.

How is this different from inviting IRAN to discuss security in Iraq? Lets see...billions spent, thousands dead and we let Iran set security policy w/o nary an Iranian soldier dead or a penny spent. I guess that is a GOP front page accomplishment.

Or from meeting with and eventually bribing N. Korea to quit their nuke program? No nukes and in return they get 1M tons of fuel oil. Another GOP winner policy.

It is best to talk with leaders who do you share your views so that understanding can be achieved. This is the right way to conduct a nations business.

No. Reagan met with USSR leaders and other leaders from the communist block at that time. There is a saying. Keep your friends close, keep your enemies closer. People who live in fear shut themselves off. Bush has been ignoring these people and the consequences have been horrible. I can't wait to get an adult in the White House who will act grown up and confront the issues head on instead of avoiding them like the president we have.

No.

Better to talk with them and employ diplomacy than to call them names, remember axis of evil.

By the way get your facts straight, it was suggested that he meet with the leaders of Venezuela, Cuba and Syria. North Korea was not discussed.

No...he just wants to premote diplomacy throughout the world...why ignore poltical situations instead of adressing them? Talking does no harm and it is better than pulling out weapons right away and declaring war.

No. Dialogue is important. Would you prefer we ignore them like Bush and put our middle finger in their face as they power up weapons and point them toward you and stay the course in Iraq?
