I don't hear it ring, The bell is shut off & the fax machine picks up when it does ring. Nothing but telemarketers anyway.

I hope that my husband will answer it first, but if it's for me, he'll run the phone over to me instead of picking it up.

our answering machine stays on 24/7, but i hope someone else gets it if it's someone we want to talk to.

If it's telemarketers (800 numbers) I just let the machine get it.

Neither. I simply look at the caller ID to see if I NEED to answer it right then or not!!!

its usually for me... anyway HAHAHA. well i have caller id soo it depends if its for me.. then im first to answer and if its the fabam i wait cuz then its fur my mom but if she takes too long then i answer it.

usualy let someone else get it, but if no one else is around, I check the caller ID.
