You MUST STOP using tampons and douche. They can cause many problems during (and immediately after) pregnancy. Discharge is very normal and you can't get rid of it, but there is an alternative to bathing twice a day. You can get wipes and use those every time you use the bathroom - or any time you feel like you need to. Kleenex offers them, so does Cottonelle. You could even use baby wipes. There are other brands as well, and you can find the Kleenex, Cottonelle, etc. in the tissue aisle. They're relatively inexpensive and they really do the job. Just remember, no matter what the package says - DO NOT flush them. It will clog your drain SO fast.
P.S. Congratulations and God bless!

Every single one of these answers is correct. You definately should NOT be wearing a tampon OR douching while pregnant. Douching changes the bodies natural PH balance within the vagina. You need to keep that where it is. Tampons can bring along with them bacteria that can cause infection. If you really are bothered by the normal discharge, wear a pad. But don't douche or wear a tampon. It's not safe.
Call your OB if you have concerns. They are your best source of information.

first you should not be douching. That si really bad for you being pregnant and even not pregnant. Maybe you have it from douching. You need to tell your doctor you have been doing this and get checked out. And you should not be wearing tampons, also it shouldn't be that bad. Clear discharge with a whiteish stuff is normal. I also had to wear a thin pad because my underwear would get wet. You need to see a doctor and let him know what you told us here. Good luck!

An increase in discharge is normal during pregnancy. But do not wear tampons or douche, that invites bacteria into your vagina near your cervix. Just wear a panty liner. It's something that every pregnant woman goes through and is not nasty.

DO NOT DOUCHE AND DO NOT USE A TAMPON WHILE PREGNANT!!!!!!!! This discharge you are having is normal and will continue throughout your pregnancy. It will usually be a whitish color. If it smells call the doctor, as it may be a sign of a yeast infection. DO NOT TREAT FOR YEAST INFECTION ON YOUR OWN!!! IT IS NOT SAFE DURING PREGNANCY!!! Especially during the first trimester.
AND GO TAKE THAT TAMPON OUT NOW AND BUY SOME PADS!

I'm sorry to say that I have to agree with all the others. You definitely should not douche or use tampons while pregnant. This discharge is normal, it could be worse, you could be very dry. This is the body's reaction to being pregnant. You will experience one extreme, extremely dry/moist.

Its normal to have a lot of discharge during pregnancy, you can consider getting "wet wipes" to clean yourself in between showers. HOWEVER it is not safe to use tampons or to douche during pregnancy.
