I am a bigger girl, and want a good alternative to shaving.. but I'm a little embarassed. have you ever seen a bigger person get a waxing of that nature before?

Why not,
Just the "beautiful people" aren't serviced by spas, the rest of us deserve service as well! You might warn them when you set up the appointment if you are large or exceptionally hairy, but otherwise they should serve you and to refuse service is illegal.
Now if you rolls of your belly cover the are and make it almost impossible to reach then you are going to have a problem. This usually isn't a problem unless you are morbidly obese (i.e. 400 lbs).
I do know that I am only 50 lbs over weight (yes I am obese), and I have trouble checking out my lower regions, more trouble then when I was lighter. So I see why you would want such services. You are far from alone.

Yes... but have you seen the prices for waxing? Anyway, if you're mind is set, then I wouldn't see what the problem is. I mean, I'm a little chubby myself. Just don't do it yourself. IF you don't know what you're doing, you're going to bust your veins and hurt yourself. Have you thought about an electric "plucker"? Like Braun silk epil?

Why shouldn't you? They see what they see, day in and day out. Do you think you have something to show that would actually shock them?? lol. I'm sure it's a little awkward for a lot of people of all different sizes to have someone do that. You shouldn't let your size deter you from getting something done that you want.
