My dr. only touches my bladder area, fully clothed, from the outside, to define tenderness in the region. Her hands never go between my legs at all.

Was there another person in the room at the time?

No, this is not normal. In the US it could be the basis for a mal-practice suit.

I am not acquainted with how drs. in other countries examine their patients, but I can unequivocally say that in the US this would be wrong.

If you were complaining of pain he did need to exam where your bladder was as well as female organs. There should have been a nurse present in the room. You have the right to ask that a nurse be present.

It sounds abnormal to me. I had a bladder infection and my doctor just took a urine sample, where I had to pee in a cup. Then I layed down on the table and she just pressed on my stomach to see if it was swollen. I've never been touched down there when checking for a bladder infection. It sounds creepy and inappropriate to me. I would report this.

What kind of touching? You need to report this to the hospital. A nurse or other female attendant should have been there if you felt uncomfortable.

So final analysis is that in case you felt his touch became into extra suitable than scientific enterprise than change intercourse. And in case your uncomfortable with him doing that than nicely it is hassle-free to change! so which you spot you frequently win....
