I haven't made up my mind yet, It is a little early in the proceedings. The primaries haven't started yet and the debates are of little help since there are so many candidates. Dennis Kucinich is interesting but not electable. Edwards, Obama and Clinton haven't inspired me and I don't know who the Green party nominee is yet. You guessed it, I am a tree hugger.

I'm not anti-democrat, I'm just anti-socialist and both Obama and Hillary are BIG TIME socialists. I live in fear that either of them would be elected. As deep in debt as our country was made by the current president and the old Republican congress, they would blow the budget way out of the water AND raise taxes. That's a fact. Of the remaining democrats, I'm not terribly impressed. And yet, on the other hand, I'm not terribly impressed with any of the Republicans who are running. I want someone fiscally conservative and strong on national defense. That doesn't describe any of the democrats or many of the Republicans at the moment. Possibly Guliani, he comes closest.

Obama or Hilary, depending on how the war in Iraq goes.
If it's clear that we need to leave, then Obama.
If it's clear that we need to stay, then Hilary.
Not to say that domestic issues aren't important (I think Obama is actually stronger on those, because Hilary totally botched healthcare while she was governor of NY,) but war tends to upstage those things.

Hilary is the safest bet. Obama and Edwards may both have more potential, but Hilary will instantly restore our prestige and set the country on a positive path in all aspects.

But Al Gore, actually.

In a perfect world, Dennis Kucinich. It's never going to happen, but hey! We can wish, right?

As long as it's a Democrat (or Ron Paul I guess) I'll be satisfied just to give Texas back their idiot.
