'Adore' is close enough; it gets too complicated after that.
Too much analysis of a feeling tends to ANALise it.
Having said that I wonder in what context you mean it.
Are you talking about the word you'd use TO the object of your desire or to a friend explaining how you feel ABOUT your 'not love' lover.

"Your so sweet "can be to a friend or more. Doesn't put you over the edge but if they are interested makes them think twice.

"hubba hubba" is an old under-used term. Probably never going to be popular with teenagers though.
How's this one ~ bootylicious.
Or to describe a man ... bonilicious...
or for unisexual word try "gazpacho"

"Adore"?
Seems to me to be in between like and love, or so I've had one person tell me when they said that they adore me. :)

Fallen angel, of course I adore you!
I just have to make the rounds with my flirting or people get their feelings hurt. ;)
