zillow.com is a great website. We were actually informed about it by our mortgage advisor at the bank. Some of the numbers haven't been updated but they're not that far off.

Zillow.com is far from accurate in many situations. I decided to check my own house, which has a market value in the $300K range. Zillow decided that it was worth $175K. So much for accuracy.

If you desire to refinance, only a professional appraisal will inform you of the estimated current market value.

Zillow had my house valued for $25,000 less than the appraisal I just had done.
