You can SUE someone for slander -- by filing a lawsuit in a proper court setting forth the grounds for recover.

You would explain how the statements are untrue, how they hurt you, and identify the people who said them and why that particular court is proper -- standard pleading format for any civil lawsuit.

GETTING someone sounds like revenge, which is a different issue, and one I cannot legally advise you to do.

When you hear someone tell an untruth regarding you, and it damages your reputation in the work place or any public place.It is like a he said she said untruth.
