Has anyone thought what's going to happen with North Korea when Kim Jong-il dies?

One of his sons might take over, or a powerful general.

Or their could be a complete breakdown in power leading to anarchy, in which case South Korea might step in.

it likely depends on how he dies. If it is slow with plenty of forewarning then it will likely switch to another dictator.

If its a freak accident then it might be anarchy.
