Do you think it's possible that there's such a way to ask "What is the meaning of life?" or "Why are we here on this planet?" that can be perfectly answered with "42"? Any ideas?

(And "What do you get when you multiply six by nine?" doesn't count. *lol*)

There is yet a THIRD theory, scottgoblue314, which states that the first two theories were in fact concoted by an editor of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy in order to increase the level of universal paranoia and so boost sales of The Guide.

I can't believe YOU'RE the only one who got the reference. :P

Actually, six and nine does have a certain validity to it. First of all 6*9 does equal 42... in a base 13 system. We use a base 10. This could symbolically mean that things in life, the universe, and everything are not at all what they seem to be, especially by appearances. The other way to look at it is, again somewhat symbolically, things in Life, the Universe, and Everything just don't make any sense.

After all, there is a theory that if the Question and Answer are both known, the Universe will become something even stranger and more nonsensical. Another theory states that this has already happened.

Well, in America, and perhaps in the Western world, generally, the ultimate question seems to be, how can i manage to sell "it" at a huge profit? Quite sad, eh? :)))

P.S. Re 6 and 9--the numbers 3, 6, and 9 are very potent vibrationally, if you know how to "tune in" to them. A good book on numbers and their "esoteric" significance, is *Dimensions of Paradise* by John Michell.

It's a shame that courses such as "sacred geometry" and "the mysticism of numbers", among others are not taught "at school". But then such would go against the disempowerment agenda of the NWO psychopaths, eh? Wouldn't want the "peasants" too well informed. :))))

First 6 X 9 is 54, not 42. Second since the mice quit working on the question we may never know. I think it may just be is there a God and where did he/she/it come from?

The ultimate answer is yet to come. I guess the ultimate question and the most succinct one has already been asked, many many many times. "How"?
