That he doesn't have to deal with having a high priced, mediocre and overrated QB, to build a game plan around. They have to be regretting letting Schaub go. But Harrington can be successful with the talent they have in Atlanta. I am a big Falcons fan that still can't forget that they could have had L. Tomlinson.

You're right.

It also gives him an ironclad excuse for the season. If they tank, everyone will chalk it up to the Vick-Babineaux dog distraction.

He'll get a year to tune up and figure out if Harrington is the guy.

I worry more about RB. Dunn has been holding on, and Norwood looks great, but the line hasn't been dominant, and both those guys suffer nagging injuries.

The Falcons claim that Daunte Culpepper was not in discussions, meaning they aren't interested...As far as Schaub, yeah...They kind of look stupid getting rid of him now...I hope Harrington shows everyone he's actually good and does well...We'll see...

nope...its joey harrington. I think he wants to have daunte culpepper.

But this also means that there will be considerably less pressure on him in the coming seasons, since the Falcons are basically nothing now.

Joey Harrington sucks.....OK he is good during the preseason, but what happens during the regular season.......NOTHING.....he could not get it done in Detroit.......with all those wide-receivers.......and ATL doesn't have any......so good luck Falcon fans.

They are better without Vick. Maybe now some Wideouts will get the ball, and Crumpler will not get every pass.

I think that the NFL is cursing their unlucky stars.
