First you've got to stop the drugs!!! If you think your life is in ruins now, you've got no idea. I too use music for "therapy" at times of stress, etc. I don't know what kind of music you like but here's a couple of songs for you.
Holy Water : Big and Rich
Who's Crying Now : Jo Dee Messina
My Give A Damn Is Busted : Jo Dee Messina
Burn : Jo Dee Messina
Bring On The Rain : Jo Dee Messina
Every Time My Heart Calls Your Name : John Berry
Walking In Memphis : Lonestar
Anyway : Martina McBride
A Broken Wing : Martina McBride
How Far : Martina McBride
Where Would You Be : Martina McBride
Kerosine : Miranda Lambert
When Fallen Angels Fly : Patty Loveless
Check out Rascall Flatts ***
I Learned That From You : Sara Evans (Check this 1 out)
Everywhere : Tim McGraw
Last Dollar (fly away) : Tim McGraw
Hey I hope that you get to feeling better, and you should talk to someone, that you can trust, if you don't want to try therapy. Just don't count it out, your life is so much more than you think right now, try to focus on the good things, the beauty around you, get back to your art. You may have to push yourself, but it will get easier with time. Best of luck, and if you cannot find this music, I'll email a few. I feel so bad for you right now, ditch the drugs, please.

20 years old and ONLY $1,000.00 in debt? You are very lucky.
Music? Find some George Thoureugood (Bad to the Bone) or ZZtop (Sharp Dressed Man) Pointer Sisters, Bette Midler (Bugie-woogie Bugle Boy) Put these on, turn up the volume. If you're not dancing like Tom Cruise very soon . . .
Knock off the weed and drinking, you might feel "good" for a bit, but they are actually depressants.
Find a "blog" such as myspace. Set up a page, invite your friends. Sometimes for me, just writing about whatever is bringing me down, helps get it out of my system.
And last, but not least, get out of the house! Got to a Mall & window shop. Go to a park - people watch you'll see some "amazing" things both places
Good Luck, Hope this was some help

Whether you want to or not, you really need to talk with a professional! Using drugs and alcohol will not help you feel better. What it does is ruin your future for a good life. 20 is young and you have an entire life ahead of you. Perhaps you should consider talking with your family doctor. He or she will be able to refer you to a good professional. Allow them to help you. Don't use drugs or alcohol for a crutch. You life is worth so much more. Don't ruin your chances for a bright future.

Drugs and alcohol are not going to take any pain away, they will end up making it worse as time goes by. You have to believe in yourself, and everyday find one thing that is good and dwell upon it, soon you will find more things good happening to you and will remember them. Exercise it clears the mind, stay away from negativity and again believe in yourself and your abilities. Depending on your taste in music find one's that pump you up make you feel good and do not have a negative message or use the music in progressive stages to change your mood. start with sad songs, then with revenge then with positive to get you through the emotions and to change them
Country - It's a little too late, Tonight the heartaches on me, Did I shave my legs for this, man to man, Love you, Yea How
Rock - Life is a highway, Who made who, Freebird, and REO

Go out and find some friends. Do something besides moping and saying poor me. When you are out doing things, your life wont seem so bad. And that debt will continue to haunt you until ya pay it off, part of adult life. Good luck to ya. And try something upbeat for music.

Smile by Lily Allen is a good one. I know I haven't gone through as much as you, but my boyfriend broke up with me not too long ago and I listened to that song a lot and it really helped. I hope you feel better soon!!!
