I've had lots of sad and difficult times, my parents divorce when I was 5, my brother going to jail I was 10, my sister dying 3 yrs ago, my grandfather dying 2 yrs ago, my brother getting hit by a car 1 yr ago, my brother getting shot in the head 3 months ago, but thanks to God I have had the strength and faith to support all hardship in my life!

There are so many times in my life...growing up I was abused, at 19 I lost the only family member who gave a damn about me so that traumatized me, through most of my 20s I spent with a man that was all wrong for me but took me forever to figure it out, and now the last several years I have been out of the military I have struggled to make a life for myself...I have been homeless and unemployed on too many of those occassions!! It seems like my whole life has been one challenge after another and yet somehow I go on!

I say the past year has been hard, I lost my father, was raped, and lost one of my cats, lost 3 more kittens, attempted suicide to an extreme, almost lost my baby brother to a bad accident, almost lost my grandfather to cancer, and went to rehab to detox off heroin.
So I'd say that my thirteenth year of my life pretty much sucked.
=( I feel bad for you, though, I'd feel horrible about that. I've lost a few friends I considered sisters to suicide this year, and I know it's hard, but I can't imagine loosing my actual sister, let alone my twin. My brother looked purple because of reflections of light and such in the light when I looked in on him this morning, and I was scared to death.
=/ I'm rambling again, aren't I? But I really do feel bad. My condolences to you and your family. =/

Man, that is really terrible! =( I'm sorry to hear about that.
I'd have to say mine was when my parents stopped talking to me or caring about me, and stopped paying for college, rent, tuition, books, clothes, groceries, insurance, car, gasoline, etc. I had to get a full-time job so I could still take classes and live on my own.

Losing my dad when I was 19, due to lung and brain cancer. I became an "orphan" so to speak and my life changed forever. I still miss him 15 years later.
