to lick envelopes. I think it's disgusting that we still put saliva on envelopes to send them.....

Never really thought about it. Now next time I open a bill, I'll wonder if they hire someone just to lick the envelope:)

I never lick them and I always use a knife to open it. Envelopes and soda cans are some of the nastiest things out there.

Personally I can't stand the taste so I use a damp sponge. Also seals the envelope better. And I use a letter opener.

I hate licking envelopes but what really bugs me is when I recieve mail and the glue is still tacky....(SO GROSS!!!!)

I read an article that said the glue they used is not for consumption so the heath dept. does not check to see if it is clean, so there is roaches and their eggs, and dead mice and rats. I use a glue stick to seal my envelopes. I know I know tmi to much information.

what difference does it make if someone licked ur incoming mail, u rn't gonna relick it.
Personally my only problem is the taste of the glue. Some r really nasty tasting.

You probably use an alcohol soaked hanky to open restaurant doors as well. Do you know how many men and women DON'T wash their hands after going to the bathroom?

I open my mail with a knife and let my Bulldog lick it.JK I use water.
