Can anyone recommend a monologue, or play in general, that would be good as an audition piece for darker roles (like villan-types)? I am looking for more contemporary (modern english) monologues. Thanks!

You know, a monologue should precisely fit you like a glove, and you tell us nothing about yourself. Tell me your age, height, weight, hair and eye color and what you are auditioning for and I will try to help. contact me at kencosp@aol.com I mentor young actors for free.

i've got by no skill considered female Interrupted, yet what approximately something like Cassandra's monologue from the Greek Tragedy Agamemnon. that's noticeably solid and loopy. Then there are the Shakespearean monologues of Cleopatra, Ophelia, woman Macbeth.
