They need to get this man's contract done up...and i'm talkin' a month ago, their late. But he will actually hurt himself if he does miss the season. His stock will go down, his image will be hurt, and he won't be makin' any money. Its a business like they say...its supposed to be football, but you gotta lot of suit and ties in the equation, which means a lot of BS.

I think he will.
The Chiefs cannot afford to let LJ sit out. Plus, he deserves the money after breaking franchise records and nearly breaking his back carrying the ball 400+ times.
He has played only 2 full seasons, thus, the Chiefs shouldn't be concerned about how many more seasons he has left in him.
Peace.....

It will happen, he will remain a Chief and get a nice contract. The only way that the Chiefs will let him go is for two first round picks, and that isn't going to happen. The Giants are proabably the best candidate for giving up that kind trade, and I don't think they will do it...

If they don't give him a contract similar to L.T.'s they are crazy the only player that has a chance to eclipse Eric Dickerson's single season rushing record is Larry Johnson because they both big and have top end. I hope he get his due.

I'm expecting Johnson to be dealt sometime around the trade deadline to a contender that needs that one more piece to their offense to make a playoff run. The Packers are interested right now, but they don't want to trade a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd round pick for Johnson.

If larry has a brain, he'll get to camp and work. I can see both sides of this. If he misses the season, he is only hurting himself. He will re-enforce that persona he has of the "Its all about ME". He isn't a team player in the truest sense of the word. he doesn't block *his OLE block of Fujita when the played Dallas is proof of that*, he can't catch the ball. He doesn't deserve LT money when he's not as good as LT. He is as good a runner, but, as an all around back, he's not even in his league.

He won't miss the season. Or he better not for the Cheifs and his sake. He might skip training camp and preseason, but you better believe week 1 he will be suited up ready to run.
