My motor starts great, idles great, and when I drop the hammer= nothing. It fells like I've run aground or I'm overloaded or my hull is filled with water.If I ease into it the result is the same, no power.Does this have anything to do with the water/fuel valve? Please help, VERY frustrated!!

OK carbs need cleaning on the front there a 3sets of 3 carbs on the bottom side of each there is a 7/16 brass nut remove the nut on each carb 6 in total get some good carb cleaner with red spray end insert in the hole will feel an insert inside the jet spray away will hear inside carb. do on all should clean them unless there really bad then dissemble then.If you pull the air box off you can see inside the ventures a brass tube in the center put the red spray end in the tube an spray 5 sec this will leave cleaner in the bowel let sit over night prime start and try it. Run gumout i the fuel tank. hope this helps.

If your boat sat for a while your carbs are probably dirty. The only way to get them clean thoroughly is to remove and disassemble them. If it didn't sit you may have an ignition problem, or you may have a linkage problem.

The exact same thing happened to me. If you go to canadian tire you can buy a fluid that cleans out your carborator or you can have it done professionally for 150$. That is probably the problem.
