That's pretty original... considering the question was asked a half hour ago.

Yes, he is a FIRST ballot Hall-of-Famer. 7 time all star at two positions up the middle. 3,000+ hits ALL with the same team. In the era of the DH, his hits were all when he played defense as well.

Yes. He has the 3,000 hits. Plus, he was the heart and soul of some pretty good Astros teams over the last fifteen plus years. One other thing to keep in mind- Biggio played catcher, outfield, and second base during his career. You will never see that type of versatitlity in our lifetime.

YES No matter how messed up baseball is he should be a first ballot inductee. Just think about it 3000 hits Most HBP in major league history. Just for the record most hit by pitches he should be a first ballot inductee. Just think about it being hit so many times you should get into the hall

3000 hits, no contoversy or drug allegations and a long career with one team. He'd better be. Just wished he'd retired immediately, before tonight's Dodgers game. Ouch!

He has 3,000, never got caught with steroids or gambling, came up as a catcher and proved his versatility as a second baseman and outfielder, and is a class act, so why not Cooperstown?

He should be, I am not an Astros fan, but he has definitely earned a spot, but maybe not on his first try.
