Have you ever talked bad behind someone's back who you know and they happened to hear you? If so what was your reaction?

Yeah that's definitely happened to me. Sometimes I think we subconsciously do it because we are angry with the person and maybe they need to hear how you feel about them.
What if this person you talked about was a co-worker who had no respect for you and would go to lunch with another coworker 1) leaving you out and 2) not even waiting for you to finish your lunch at your desk when after you were done eating you were going to hang out and enjoy the wheather?
Oh wait...I shouldn't be saying anything about it because maybe they are reading this...

I made that mistake talking to my x bosses x wife, and everything I said to her, she turned everything around and went and told her x husband, and I got fired.Oh well, live and learn. Now I get paid for not working by the state, because there was no just cause to fire me. The jokes on them. I will never help people like that ever again. I need to learn to not talk as it sometimes gets me in trouble because they know the truth hurts.

No hasnt happened to me, but my little sister was dating two guys at one time, and somehow got caught in a 3way call that ended both relationships rather abruptly! She was telling one all the reasons why she would never date the other, and they were both on the phone!

I've caught people talking about me before...they didn't care. They just laughed...it was an awkward moment.

yes my sister and i talked about a lady and her 3 yr. old son who was in her prek class. So she saw her everyday. she ended up being behind us. she obviously heard and women don't take comments about their kids lightly. We felt guilty and it was at our religious organization so we looked bad religiously, socially, and professionally. it was awful and guilty.

yeah i was tellin my friend about a couple at our school that broke up and then the girl showed up behind me she didn't care tho but it was embarassing!
