With the trolls, report happy people, violation notices, account suspensions, and people blocking you because they get a violation when answering one of your questions and they think that you did it esepcially when you don't even use the damn report abuse button? I think that I'm getting sick and tired of this crap.

As insane as you might find this....... It doesn't cross my mind to quit. I love this place. True... I hate seeing friends disappear and/or get suspended. And sure, when there are a few times when things are unjustified, I'll write to Yahoo! and ask for forgiveness or plead my case. And yes.. I have thumbs down fairies attacking from all sides. And I do get violations that I don't understand. But....... I think it all depends on WHY you come here. This is my escape. If I get bogged down by the "stuff" then I lose sight of why I'm here to begin with. Just to enjoy friends and laugh..... think a little bit.... learn a little bit...... and bond with the most diverse group of people I think I've ever met. I keep that as my focus. My best friend on here gets suspended every time I turn around and he has never complained....... he just takes a breath and creates a new profile and starts up again. Why? Because he doesn't lose focus of why he's here. He enjoys the people...... he enjoys writing.... he enjoys making people laugh. If he's accomplishing that with a few bumps in the road........ so be it. He can endure the bumps because the pay off is so much greater.
And I think that is what we have to remember. Is the payoff we get from this place greater than the bumps and bruises we endure along the way. I know that it sure is for me. I pray it is for many others as well. I think that is why we all love this place so. :)

Yeah, you just said it all for me. Account suspension: 30,400+ points of well researched answers and a bit of fun. For being religious and spiritual, some of the most ignorant, spiteful and non-spiritual people come from that section. IMHO

yes!they are the reason this place has become what it is!!way back when i first started on here!!there wasn't that many trolls and i NEVER got a violation notice!
these past 3-4months i've got many violations,and i wonder,'why do i come at all?"and the only reason i come here is because of all my good friends!!they are like a family to me!!
i went to dizzay,and it is not as good as here,but it is true..there are no trolls,no violation notices,no suspensions!!
it is a little slow though,and maybe if they fixed that and a couple of others things,i'd go!and i'd try to convince my friends to go too!!
oh!!and NO REPORT BUTTON!!yeah!!
they have an ignore button!works just great!!!

Yes, I have. I'd thought I'd go to hang out in another section for a while but it wasn't as fun, and when I joined here I'd come from a horrible chat room where trolls and clones were there ALL the time- THIS was the LAST place I thought they'rd be the same garbage going on. And they even got BUK of all people!? I don't know what I'm going to do. :o(

Yes, I have decided that and quit around 3 times but I always get over it in a few days or a week. I think of a new strategy.It's hard to stay here but some days are worth it!! And this place has made me tougher.

After being here since June of '06, and having my original account suspended, along with 4 other built up accounts... I now have to start from scratch.
You may ask whyyyyyyyyy do you continue to subject yourself to the BS of yahoo P&S.
Truth be told, I adore the people here. They are great!
Also, I will NOT let some 6.00 per hour moron with no life keep me from doing what I enjoy... hanging out here.
They can suspend me all they want, i'll be back!

Yes I have a few times. Clones and trolls take all the fun out of the site and misuse it too the point at times it isn't worth getting on the site. Sad too

Know the feeling all too well... and probably wouldnt be far behind you heading out the door... I have other categories that I am much more useful, and much LESS prone to being abused by the kiddies...
At least Dizzay is a bit more free form... and adult about things...and no trolls..

you are a mind reader..cuz as I am sitting her..debating whether I should just make a new account & identity & keep a low profile cuz I am so sick of the crap that goes on here...
& i even keep deleting my answers cuz for some reason I can say a one word answer "yes" or "no" & get a whole bunch of thumbs down
I am not in the mood for anymore violations..

I have had only one very angry sort of person,block me. I won't even block that person. Yahoo,ultimately is the one to be blamed,in my opinion. There is very little genuine oversight or investigation on their part.
No blocking reporting crying or writting hateful e-mails...that's my motto. If you disagree with me on a particular point..tsk tsk...walk in ignorance.. Why should I be offended if I have something good,that others reject?
If one wishes to report me or block me...I will not retaliate.
