What does it matter what they will do? How about what they should not do. We as a country should not be invading and occupying other countries. That's what gets us into trouble in the first place. I mean just imagine if another country had their military posted in out streets....We would be fighting back too. We have to reallly realize that just taking up arms and invading a country doesn't do anything except enrage more people. After Sept 11 we should have learned that killing (no matter fo what reason) only leads to more killing.

Would it really matter who is in office when a terrorist attack occurs? I mean really think about it most of what happened on 9/11 was set up during Clinton's administration. So in that case, this would be really Bush's fault if we are attacked again, even if a Democrat is in office at the time.

The "Dems" refer to 100 million people -- they are probably going to do many different things.
As to who in office would take what actions, that depends on who gets elected.
One would hope that they would go after the specific group that attacked us, and not rampage around the region attacking anyone who might not like us. But sadly, efficiency is not one of their strong points as a party.
Still, better that than the alternative.

They would do about the same as the Republicans. Unless it's Hilary who's in office, in which case she'll probably run and hide. Or get Bill to handle it.
There's not a lot of differences anymore between the two parties, when you get right down to it. The Dems are in power in Congress and have they gotten anything done yet?

...yes but to think everybody is out to get you is....what is that word...oh yes...PARANOIA. Alright let's assume the worst. Another 9/11 happens. What will Bush do? Answer that. Lock up EVERY person with 'Al' in their names and throw away the key ? Invade every other country in the world ? Nuke all non-western countries and maybe a few western ones too ?

Sorry, but if the dem's are elected, you can be sure that there will be another 9/11. They are just too soft on terrorism. I am sure they think that their approach is more politically correct and "humane". Sorry but you can't talk to them, you can't negotiated with them and you can't just threaten them, you have to call their bluff and you have to mean it. And that, unfortunately, usually leads to a confrontation, something liberals would rather avoid.

If Mitt Romney is in the White House in 2009 and we are attacked, will he attack the wrong country like Bush did in 2002? I don't get your point.
