WASHINGTON (AP) -- Anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan was arrested Monday at the Capitol for disorderly conduct, shortly after saying she would run against House Speaker Nancy Pelosi over the California Democrat's refusal to try to impeach President Bush.
Sheehan was taken into custody inside Rep. John Conyers' office, where she had spent an hour imploring him to launch impeachment proceedings against Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney. Conyers, D-Michigan, chairs the House Judiciary Committee, where any impeachment effort would have to begin.

Cindy Sheehan is not anti war, she's anti everything. Her Ego is out of control. She is a nut.
She doesn't have clue one about how impeachment proceedings are conducted. You would think that she would at least look it up if that was the cause she intended to take on.
The democrats may be dumb but, they are not stupid. They don't want to hitch their wagon to an escaped mental patient.
Even her husband of 28 years is bailing.

Because she has moved away from being a useful tool to a loose cannon. They can't have some rabid person harping about impeachment running freely around the Capitol.

Because they might finally realize she is FREAKING INSANE. Yes her son died in iraq but so have alot of parents children. She was a pacifist before her son joined and his dying just gave her the pity card to push her agenda. Get over it there will never be long lasting world peace as long as there are people alive. Soon wars will begin over water supplies and land.

The simple answer is she is now a political liability.
Perhaps you remember her quip about the Dems being just as bad as the Repubs in terms of politicizing the war?
That didn't win her many friends on the left. Of course, she's right...both sides are doing it.
She simply had the courage to say it.
