i have a yfz450 with a full curtis sparks exhaust and my header gets so hot that it gets orange and glows at night. i bought it this way and dont know wats wrong with it. anything would be really helpful thanx.

You should check the valve clearances. Sounds like the exhaust valves are tight.

It is normal for the header to glow in the dark. If you go to night-time races, you will see all the bikes doing this.

Does you bike run like this?
Search for questions "I have a very hard time starting 250yzf"
Your bike has 2 chokes.
One for cold starting and another to start the bike when it's warmed up.
The cold choke allows more fuel into the mixture.
The hot choke allows more air into the mixture.
It was found that 4 strokes were hard to start after they got hot.
The hot start choke cured the problem.
Maybe the choke plunger is damaged, or stuck open.

your running way to lean, whoever changed the exhaust, didn't rejet the carb.

its running too lean it needs more fuel, before you burn the piston up.

They get hot, that is what they do, don't touch it.
