Yes I do. My brother, my nephews, my niece and I live together and pull our resources. My brother and I both work and go to school. I do like to use my money wisely. I used to buy all new clothes for the kids, then freak when they became stained the first time they wore them. Now, I shop for clothes at good will. I get more for my money and I can by nice clothing and play clothing. I also find antique furniture there.

Other peoples trash becomes someone Else's' treasures. You can find maybe a bowl or cup that matches your set of dishes that you can not buy elsewhere now. Somethings you can buy at Walmart for same or less. It is fun to see what people donate just to get rid of.
I like to refinish furn. and good old pieces are cheap there.
Some people I say have more money than brains when it comes to stuff.

My Mom used to call it "Macy's" as a joke. Goodwill, Desert Industries, Salvation Army... All great spots to shop. I've bought furniture, books, and even some sportcoats. I once found a neno cerutti raincoat. It was in the stores for almost 300. I got it for 25.00!!

Keep it up!!

Yeppers. I started back in college (1982) and still enjoy popping in for a visit.

I made major shopping trips when my ex-wife cleared out my home in 1992, and then again when my boat sank with everything I owned in 2000.

I love the prices, and love taking things that I've lost interest in to them.

I go there to buy used books and also to buy baskets that
we use to deliver gifts to nursing home residents. I bought a
hanging flower pot to put a plant in and take to an elderly
woman that is very ill. I love to go look around there and at
flea markets.

I don't see anything wrong with it. It's cheap & goes to a good cause. Besides they have some great stuff.
