It could be anything. Cancer doesn't understand age restrictions. Therefore if you feel there is a medical problem, you really should see a medical professional.

While it is unlikely that it might be cancer, it could be an infected gland, or an impacted duct; neither of which should be left untreated. Only a full breast exam and perhaps a mammogram and/or a sonogram will tell you for sure.

Contact your doctor.

I think the first thing you need to ask yourself is do you feel a lump or a mass anywhere in your breast or under your arm? There are many other things that may cause the symptoms that you are mentioning, but never dismiss symptoms because of your age. Do you have a family history of breast cancer?
Many cities offer free breast cancer screening, some have age requirements, but at least go to see your primary care doctor or OB/GYN.
It could be an infected gland, pinched nerve in your arm, anything. But it's not worth the risk.
Chances are, you don't have breast cancer, but get yourself checked. Good Luck.

Usually (note: USUALLY) breast cancer doesn't hurt. There's no pain involved for most people. Usually it's finding a lump and going to see a doctor. By that point it's intense emotional pain from thinking that it may be cancer.

I would talk to a doctor, mainly because it involves pain, your left breast AND left arm. Talking with a specialist is going to ease your fears and figure out what the heck your body is trying to tell you.

It is possible to have breast cancer ar your age, but it may be unlikely. Do you have this feeling all of the time? If so, then see your doctor. If it is only ocasional, it could be the result of your hormonal changes. (My wife experiences tenderness and breast enlargement just before her period.) Also consider that your bra might be too tight, this can cut off circulation and result in pain.

Check to see if you feel any lumps. You are not too young to have breast cancer, if this does not stop go see your doctor.

The symptoms you are experiencing are not condusive to breast cancer. Sounds like you may be experiencing nerve compression, commonly referred to as a "pinched nerve." If its an ongoing problem, you may just want to give your MD a call.
