How are crocheted items like doilies judged at contests like county fairs?

Here's the criteria from the last fair I was in. The points system may be different where you are:
Overall appearance 10 pts.
Workmanship 15 pts.
Finishing 10 pts.
Difficulty 10 pts.
Bonus for originality 5 pts. (ie. 1 or 2 pts. For
changing the color scheme or altering a pattern
in some way – 4 or 5 pts. For complete original
design.)

usually the judges look for evenness of your stitches, and the pattern. the more detail the better

I believe they have all different categories and judge by creativity, color, consistency...
