Give it time! It will never completely go away though!

I am so deeply sorry for your loss. All you can do is give yourself some time to heal. Take a week off of work and just sit home and cherish all those moments you had with your mom, don't push yourself, the worst thing you can do is try to convince yourself that you're okay with everything but in reality you're really not. good luck.

There is no said day that it will happen...with each passing day you will heal a little bit more. The road you are walking right now is one that many of us have traveled. We all did the walk differently...some alone, some with family and some like me...family, friends and believe it or not...P&S!

My heart and prayers are with you right now. I know well the feelings you have. I carried them myself from grieving over the passing of my Daddy and the tragic loss of a dear friend to a heinous crime. Don't be afraid to seek comfort and understanding of how you feel. I am a stranger to you and you to me...but in this world we are all connected by loving hearts. Your heart is welcome to seek me out...if you ever need a shoulder.

i am very sorry to hear about your loss. as to when you can get your life back...the grieving process is different for everyone, just know that your mother is smiling down on you and is now free of pain. You will always have your mother in your heart and eventually you will gain the strength to go about your life as you did before...but take your time with the healing process and take as much time as you need. Surround yourself with positive people. Best to you :)

Sorry to hear about your loss. Your life will get back to "normal" soon. You will always have that void, but just think of the good times the both of you had when you are feeling down.

You must have been really close to your mom, and it may seem like forever until you start to feel better. Just remember to keep enjoying life, having fun with friends and doing things you enjoy will help you recover faster.

i know the feeling...
don't push yourself, allow time to grieve...

i know this is a cliche, but it will get better. It took me most part of a year before i could speak about my dad without getting emotional.

Wishing you the best.
