I'd say I'm probably a little depressed right now. I recently broke up with my boyfriend and am down on myself for allowing myself to trust him. No worries though. It's all part of the mourning period. I'll be back to myself in no time!

Not this summer because since we haven't had much rain, it's always sunny. Therefore, when it's really sunny and you're exposed to a whole lot of ultra violet rays; your brain synthesizes more serotonin (a natural anti-depressant). Hence, will make you more happy and less depressed.
I'm out in the sun a lot, therefore I'm not really ever depressed.
This is just a theory of mine, but the cause of the rise in depression statistics could be the fact that a lot of people stay indoors most of the time. Ex: office jobs, teachers, store workers, etc. thus, their brains are not able to produce the needed serotonin to combat depression naturally.

Yes.Ive been depressed a few yrs.A run down....my mom had a stroke in 95,my dad lost his 23yr job in 2001,he started drinking,he left my mom 2002,she couldnt care for herself,my dad died dec 30th 05..they said from a heart attack and my mom died 2 months later Mar 06...both unexpectantly.I have 1 bro,1 sis who didnt help me with the funerals (No life Ins) they didnt even show up to help with my moms funeral.I had a total breakdown when my dad died (daddys girl) and then again when my bro and sis didnt show up to help me.My husband ended up planning my moms funeral.
Because they were seperated, and my dads sisters taking over, they are buried in different places,2 hrs away. That right there eats at me everyday.I also didnt get help buying the headstones..
A lot of stuff said that you cant take back and I dont see any of my family. My dad had 7 bro and sisters (5 still living) and my mom had 9....7 still living and now 6...
SO yea...life sucks sometimes.
And yes I take meds...sucks

Yep, pretty much..parents don't pay any attention, people don't understand, no ones around, all alone...and I'm somewhere I don't want to be craving to be somewhere else where my real family is at. But well, what can you do, just keep living and hope things get better and do something to make them better.Plus, things can't always stay being bad, something is bound to change at any moment. =)

No, sadness never hits me, least of all depression.
I can't see how people can be depressed when they're alive.
They've beaten insurmountable odds to be that - they weren't alive for billions of years past, soon they will cease to be so - so they should enjoy it whilst its here.
