Though i wish Pakistan to win..but feeling that Srilanka would make it if it has to be a south asian team!could never trust my team unfortunately!

Of the South Asian teams, Sri Lanka has by far the best chance to reach the 20/20 final, and perhaps even win it. They proved the were the best South Asian team by making the WC final, and have a very strong lineup. Jayasuriya is perfect for 20/20, and Sangakkara and Jayawardene are at the top of their games at the moment. Bowling wise, there is the control of Vaas, the impact of Malinga and the guile of Murali. And they do well in South African conditions - they did make the semi-final of the 2003 WC.
India and Pakistan are too inconsistent, and Bangladesh are still finding their feet. All teams have the potential to do well, but the answer to your question has to be Sri Lanka.

Since cricket is a game of uncertainties,nothing can be predicted for sure about the outcome of a tournament well in advance. Twenty/20 championship is no exception. India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka have hard hitting batsmen capable of turning the match in their favour. It all depends upon which team plays to their potential during the tournament.

Well...Its a quite good question to ask..i'm an Indian myself so I'll naturally hope India to win.But according to my calculation India only has a 2nd chance to win this cup.Even though India has 'pinch hitters'(thats what counts in 20/20's) like Dhoni,Pathan and some of our top orders who will probably forget their nomal 'stay in the crease style' and take out the 'bang bang' style,gives us some hope, our bowling attack is not that good for short matches like 20/20.In my ophinion Sri lanka has the most chance to win this one,the proved theirselves on the Worldcup so we cannot underestimate them.Another team thats stands in our way with some of the 'strongest pinch hitters' in the world is none other than Pakistan.Anway I hope India will win this.GO GO India!!!

Sri lanka currently they are best South Asian team. The best batsman for India is Dhoni and for pakistan its Afridi.

Sri Lanka has a very good chance of winning the 20-20 world cup. They are in good form. They have batsman like Jayasuriya and bowlers like C Vaas and M Murlitharan.

"excellent" choice with pakistan...south asia is tough to decide now a days...bangladesh had the most remarkable world cup...pakistan and india were disasters, but you know how there is no love lost between those two...if india fails so must pakistan or vice verse (im kidding...they are so much better when they are at peace)...i also would add sri lanka...
