Mrs. Edwards is making a huge sacrifice and giving up tangerines in the name of Global Warming and Conservation...how noble. With such a huge sacrifce on her part - what can we "little people" do to EQUAL her amazing contribution to society?

Buy local. It is what she was alluding to.
I buy produce from my local farmers market. I'd rather eat a tomato fresh off the vine than one shipped cross country. I pick my own apples in the fall, prefering them to the wax and pesticide sprayed ones in the supermarket. I am lucky enough to live in an area where I can get lobster and swordfish fresh off the boat an hour away.
Imagine, saving the earth and eating fresher, healthier, better-tasting food. It's a win-win, if you ask me...

at least she is trying something...
I'm trying to use more engery conserving lightbulbs and not use the the energy comsuming ones as much. I'd love to get a hybrid but right now I can only get a cheap, used vehicle and I havn't seen any used Hybrids for sale.
I might try to find more 'green' things and if my bdget allows it I'll buy and use them
