the "easy" answer is upgrade from 100 - 1000, but that is also an incorrect answer.

You can usually accomodate higher thruput rates if you up the TCP send size on both machines. just do some googling/yahoo searching on how to do this in the registry.

However I will caveat that if you do it wrong, or dork around in the registry and make an incorrect setting, you can very well render your machine useless.

interesting question with lots of answers. upgrade your router and wireless card. not on wireless? do some research on fiber optics. too expensive? the fastest you can goo n copper is gigbit with cat5e and a router that supports gig thru-put
