Okai i'm havin a girl, but i'm not sure what to name her. My name is DeShavonn (day-sha-vaughn) and i want to name her something similiar so can i get some help? I was thinking about Shavonn (Sha-vaughn)?

I went to elementary school with a girl named Chevon (sha-vaughn) It's very pretty. You might want to have a boy's name picked out just in case, sometimes they're wrong.

siobahn pronounced shi-bahn. (Gaelic name)
I really hate all the De- and La- names out there sorry. Had a very good friend named Latonya and could never call her that.
What about something a little more traditional? As I am sure you are aware names like your own are difficult, you have to constantly spell, correct pronunciation, and explain. But hey is is your kid name her what you want.
I am kind of fond of Zoe.

Sorry, but no one is really naming their children those types of names anymore. Personally, I can't tell you what to do, but only give some advice. I would name my child a simple name and easy to pronounce (especially for job reasons). I am a mother of three children and their names is sharna, sean and gabriella. Yvonne or Milania would be nice (maybe you can just wait until the baby is born).
