Me & my husband have three daughters, we are pregnant with a fourth baby, we will find out the sex next month. My main thing is I just hope the baby is healthy, but I really really want a little boy this time, Is that horrible? I will be happy no matter what & would love another daughter just the same but this is going to be our last child & I would love the chance to see how different raising a son would be & to have my mama's boy, lol. we got three daddy's girls & I just want to have a boy so bad. Anyone been in a similar experience? Do we have a greater chance of still having a girl or is it 50-50?

It's not bad. It's normal for you to have a desire...what would be bad is if you had another little girl and resented her for being female...
Desiring a little boy is perfectly normal and nothing to be ashamed of.
Your chances are 50/50, and you can thank your hubby for all the girls...lol it's the mans contribution that decides the sex of the child.
Good Luck

Statistically speaking you ahve a greater chance of having another girl. The combination of the environment in your uterus and cervix and your husband's sperm seem to be more likely to produce a girl; it has something to do with acidity levels and how long the sperm live that produce one or the other. I don't remember the precise science of it. It is truly the male's sperm that determine the sex but, now science knows that the female's environment also matters to which sex is likelier to be produced.
I understand your feelings of really wanting a boy this time. It's not at all horrible. It's just normal. It's only a feeling and feelings are not the same as actions, by a long shot. I always really wanted a girl and couldn't have cared less if I ever had a boy. I also know that in some ways it really does matter what sex your kid is because their lives are very different and your life in turn will be different depending on the sex of your child. Certainly you know that a healthy child is the only thing that matters ultimately but, there is nothing wrong with wishing for what you want. If you do find out that you are having another girl, give yourself time to grieve the loss of the possibility of having a son and then you will be able to move on to the reality of having a beautiful new baby girl!!

I think that's the same way my husband felt with my third pregnancy. He wished soooo much for a girl but we had a boy. I've read that if you have two or more of the same sex then the following baby has a higher chance to be of the same sex. We have three boys and we are not going to get pregnant again. Imagine 4 boys... well, 5 with hubby lol

I don't think it's bad.I have an 11 year old son and am currently pregnant with my second and last child. We will find out next month and I want a girl so bad,the ribbons and pigtails the dance recitals. It's not like I'll love my baby any less because it's a boy,it will just be back to who cares about my hair and football.Aside from healthy I think everyone has a preference after their first.

its a very normal feeling!! YOu have three girls, who you wouldn't change for the world, but you want the experienc of having a son too! I have a son, and another boy on the way! We have not decided if we will try for # 3 in a few years. If so, I hope I get a girl, but I would love another boy just as well!!! Good luck!

Still 50-50. THe best time to try & sway the scale is when trying to concieve (depending on the day in your cycle.)
The difference in boys & girls is dependant on the child. I have 3 active girls & a boy. My aunt however has very mild boys. It just depends on the child. One of my daughters is more of a "boy" than my cousins ever were.
Congrats & good luck.

Your chance of having another girl is slightly greater because thats all u have had is girls. I am also preg with #4 (BOY) and have 2 boys and the oldest is a girl. I wanted a girl so bad when we went to find out the sex I made them take a pic of his male parts 4 times because i couldnt believe it lol. But yes boys are great, they are less scared of bugs and such but its fun to take them out camping, and fishing and they arent afraid to get dirty. And these days they are getting old enough to help daddy fix things :)No its not horriable you wanted a boy totally understandable.
Good Luck and god bless..

it's probably not a bad thing of wanting a boy. since you already know the basics of having a girl, now you want a boy. it doesn't mean you don't love the girls any less or differently, you just wanna new experience. good luck on the new baby. =]

That's not bad - it's normal. We have 3 kids. The first two are boys and I was desperately hoping the 3rd was a girl - we got our wish, we now have 2 boys and a girl!

I have 3 daughters and didnt find out until the last preg that it is most unlikely for me to have a different sex child than my first due to the fact that i am rh neg. after researching this i found that very few women who are rh neg are aware of this. and it is not proven medically but is the case in most rh neg women. might that be your issue?
