Remembering Never, It Dies Today, Converge, Killwhitneydead.
A lot of you people are naming metal bands. A lot of you people are naming emo/scene bands.
There is a huge difference, hardcore music isn't some sissy crying about his last 1 billion dysfunctional relationships.
As I Lay Dying, Underoath and many others that were named above can only hope to someday be as dedicated to music as hardcore artists.
By the way, an example of someone who isn't hardcore is someone who has to look it up on the internet.

Hmm.. lets see. You may know quite a few of these, but these are my favorites.
1. Opeth. They're progressive metal but they have some extremely heavy songs. I've personally been to several of their concerts, and the lead singer, Mikael Ã
kerfeldt, is seriously one of the best heavy screamers I've ever heard.
2. Chimiara. This guy screams his head off, and they're heavier than hell.
3. Bleed the Sky. Heavy metal, heavy screaming, head thrashing fun.
4. Lamb of God. Quickly becoming my favorite, these guys rewrote metal. And its awesome.
5. The Red Chord. These guys are extremely heavy. Fast pace songs with impeccable timing, loops and catchy chord progressions. The lead singer must smoke a pack a day to get his sound. Check out their album "Clients".
6. Unearth. I love the energy these guys have. Saw them in concert a year back and loved them.
Download some of they're songs and you're sure to like one of em!
