the wii, Nintendo has made over 9 syestems and they where all cheep and got old on 2 years to 4 years. Nintendo does not make a syatem that will be poplar for the next 7 to 10 years like sony and Microsoft. so Nintendo just makes a system and sell a bunch then makes a another that sell a bung but they don't care how long it last they are just there to make money and don't care how reliable there system is. so duh a 250$ system is going to sell more than a 600$ system do the math see the difference!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the ps3 does not have games because the price to make a game in 1080p cost more that making a game for the other systems. thats why the ps3 so called does not have games!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

edit: for all of you that say the hardware is better (blutooth and ray) i agree, but it donest show, whcih it should. nobody knows why ps3 didnt use all the extra tech they had, but they didnt and they fell behind in the big picture, its nothing about the cost, if someone can afford a 360 pro, they can easily afford a ps3 20 gig.

i own a 360, and im not a fanboy but i compare everything properly, i dont hate the ps3, its a very good console. its just people like you who have the perception that people who prefer the 360 hate ps3. i hope you understand why wii is not worthy enough to be even brought into this converstaion but i would like to make a comment on you game note: ps3 has been out for almost a year now, xbox360 after 10 months launch was doing much better in the games section than ps3. at e3 this year all sony did was tell you they were going to expand their internet service to be jsut like 360's but still not as good. i understand psn offers downloadble contnet, but marketplace is just supperior to it (dont agure if you havent used both thorouly) i wont say anything about the gui since its upto the public to decide, but on a personal note i find 360 with more gui features, organizied and navigable. the cost is another major factor, and now with the 60 gig ps3 and elite at same price, elite offers a much bigger community (7 million gold players good enough for you?), double the harddrive, better games at this point and possibly until Q2 2008 judging from the E3 lineups shown, a better marketplace (at e3 they showed how they will expand psn but it just donest look as good as marketplace is currently!), and withplaystation the advantages are blueray movies (i wont say games because they havent made one game to date that uses the potential of bluray to make it better than 360 games) and free psn (gold membership isnt that costly, it much much much cheaper than even a coffee a day) and judging from that id say 360 is better. if you want to watch the microsoft e3 confrence they evven show sales stats since ps3/wii launch, wii outsels ps3 2:1, and xbox 360 outsells them both combined. so you cant use the fact xbox360 has been out longer. also since you do use that fact, i would also like to say ps3 had one year extra of technology hardware additions, (i wont mention software because both consoles offer firmware updates) which doenst seem to show until now. by the time ps3 does start to lead as many ps fanboys predict (it donest seem that will ever happen), the 8th gen would be here (2009). im still not getting into the small details but i would like to mention that me and most others over the internet like the xbox360 contorler much better, and that is a major factor (hoped ps3 had bomberang though) and it even went upto the extent where ben heck (hope you know him) made a 360 style controler for ps3, cuz ps3 contorler sucks. i hope you did you research before posting this and atleast watched e3 2007

I dont hate the ps3 i dislike it ....... maybe in the future i will get one...because i have a psp and a ps2 ...the ps3 is overpriced and doesnt have many games ...maybe in a year ..but when the 360 came it had at least almost twenty games out ...the hardware isnt very dependable ...if im gonna dish out 500 bucks it better work and not over heat etc...and the thing that most makes the ps3 look bad is in the first 7 months its out ...they droped the price ...the xbox 360 didnt even think about droping its price ..and it hasnt even droped a single bit ...it makes me wonder what else there gonna change ...i will buy one evenetually ...when the time comes right ...and the ps3 has been out long enough so it should have plenty of games ....
this my view
1. the ps3 was not thought out right ...it was launched right before the wii
2. a person died over one ..
3.they should of took time and made the system right
3.blueray isnt that great and some people dont have the T.v for it

in my personal thought i think the ps3 sucks ....the games suck ...the system is really loud ..and its overpriced ...maybe in a year they will change somethin and all the malfunctions will be worked out ...i dont care for it ...and almost every ps3 game will be out for 360

I'm not a Xbox fan boy at all, I'm a PS3 fan boy, but I'm still going to answer this question.

I think that Xbox fan boys hate the PS3 because they know that it is better and they are just jealous. Bluetooth is better than Infrared Technology, and Blu-Ray is better than standard DVD. To me the PS3 isn't really expensive at all. The gaming console market is like the car market. The PS3 is the Mercedes, the Xbox is the Toyota, and the Wii doesn't even matter. The PS3 hasn't been malfunctioning like the Xbox has either. The Xbox owners probably wish that they could play their games in high def with a HD-DVD game disc but they can't.

Also, I think that one reason why so many people dispise the PS3 is only because they can't afford it. But once the PS3 drops enough in price they'll shut there mouths and wish they had bought it sooner like me.

I don't hate the PS3. It looks nice.

What's bad about the PS3? Useless functions, expensive, online suck, not giving third-party developers much reason to work exclusively with it.

I'd rather pay for a system a DVD player and a couple of games instead of just a system and pretty useless DVD player. I know Blue-ray is supposedly awesome and all that, but the most expensive movie I ever bought was LotR when it came out.

I don't care if 360 "loses" in the long run because I still know that there will be a larger user base in the here and now. There will still be a steady base in the future as well. I will be able to still have fun with plenty of competition online.

Hi there I am sorry to here all that. I have a Xbox it is good but the ps3 is just that little bit better I am a Xbox fan boy and would never buy a ps3 but I think people are sometime wrong and have never play the ps3.and yes there are some good games out there. Just buy the ps3 live life to the full and don’t take note to what over people say and yes I love my noisy Xbox and hate the ps3 but still.

The ps3 is way better, the people who jumped on the 360 when it first came out are just mad because now they have that instead of ps3. The ps3 online is great, and free. It comes with a net browser with a whole bunch of other stuff. It has great graphics and doesn't overheat or make a lot of noise like the 360. My friend's actually caught fire!

the xbox 360 had good games at launch and it wasnt 500-600 dollars. within acouple of months of its release it only had 3 good games, virtua fighter, resistance fall of man and motorstorm. plus the ps3 has no rumble. its motion sensing is
downright awful. and it weighs 10 pounds!!! the xbox 360 had
5 great games the day it came out. it kept releasing good games. in ps3s launch it only had resistance, and more ps3 games arent coming out untill fall. its not that we hate it, we just hate hicks in cowboy hats who defend the ps3s lack of games. in the time ps3s been out,
the xbox 360 released good games faster than the ps3.
and xbox live aint that expensive, its only 2.5 dollars a month
for a years membership.
