Just a note of interest. Most all Routers preform the same function, because the technology is the same worldwide.
There are some suddle differences that different manufactures choose to implement in there's.
What you really want is ease of set-up.
Some tend to be much harder to deal with than others.
I have owned several different brands each with different degrees of ease of set-up. I think Netgear is a good choice.
I do recommend you choose a multiport 802.11g router.
The reason is you have ethernet ports for those that are not wireless, and you are afforded wireless connections as well.

I would recommend 'netgear' as it gives you the best speed with the least amount of broken connections. plus it has the highest signal transmission range.
I have had belkin, buffalo , linksys routers before but netgear is the best.

I have a Belkin Wiresless G + Mimo router and it is good, it a bit big but you have four lan points, it can support up to 20 wireless singals, it fast and has good security
plus belkin has free techinal support!
