I look at my contacts list and when they star a question I pay a visit and sometimes comment but I always give my contacts and fans a thumbs up and a star.

I star it because I like it. I also tend to find like 3 good questions in a row, and star two of them so I don't lose them while I answer the third. I know there are other ways of keeping track of things, but that's what works for me. See, and when you ask a question about stars people tend do dole them out.

Quite often - and I am certainly more inclined to look at questions if my contacts have starred them.
