What is the length of a 1984 ODay 28 sailboat prop shaft?

I sheared my shaft! In order to replace it, I have to know how long it is... All of my documentation for the boat tells EVERYTHING about the shaft except how long it is. The engine is a universal 5411 diesel.

Have to measure it if wrong you brought it .With the boat out of the water than put a tape thought the cutlass bearing into the stuffing box into the coupling make all measurements an show how deep the coupling is to the end of the cutlass bearing the prop shop will know how much to add for the prop.add a inch to make sure it fits. as long a the rudders not to close.
