mine is Bob Dylan Blues-Syd Barret

Got the bob dylan blues
And the bob dylan shoes
And my clothes and my hairs in a mess

But you know I just couldnt care less

Gonna write me a song bout whats right and whats wrong
Got God in my gut and all that

Quiet while I make like a cat

Cause Im a poet, dontcha know it
And the wind you can blow it
Cause Im mister dylan the king
And Im free as a bird on the wing

Roam from town to town, get to get people down
But I dont care too much about that
Cause my gut and my wallet are fat

Make a whole lot of dough but I deserve it though
I got soul and a good heart of gold
So Ill sing about war and the cold

Cause Im a poet, dontcha know it
And the wind you can blow it
Cause Im mister dylan the king
And Im free as a bird on the wing

Well I sings about dreams and I rhymes it with seams
Cause it seems that my dream always means

That I can prophesy all kinds of things

But I dont give a damn about that!

Aerosmith - (Dude) Looks Like A Lady........its about Vince Neil

Off the top of my head it's "Not if you were the last Dandy on earth" by the Brian Jonestown Massacre. It's just so snooty and sarcastic. Pretty funny. It also helps having seen Dig and the scene where they are listening to it in the van right after getting the mix.

Way to drop the Zevon Sherpa. That is another really great one.

Great question - either:

Sweet Home Alabama by Lynyrd Skynrd (going after Neil Young and his Southern Man song)

"Well, I heard Mister Young sing about her.
Well, I heard ole Neil put her down.
Well, I hope Neil Young will remember
a southern man don't need him around anyhow."

or New Radicals - You Get What You Give

"Beck, Hanson Courtney Love and Marilyn Manson
You're all fakes
Run to your mansions
Come around
We'll kick your *** in!"

I would have to say, "Sweet Home, Alabama", by Lynyrd Skynyrd. In the song, Ronnie Van Zant sings, "..I hope Neil Young will remember, a southern man don't need him around, anyhow...". I don't care much for Neil Young, and I thought Skynyrd hit him right in the chops, with that one.

Frank Zappa's "Punky's Whips", about Punky Meadows, lead guitarist from the (old) band Angel. The lyrics of it are in "source" as they are a bit long and racey to post here!
